What's Coming to The Recovery Depot: Build Your At-Home Recovery Room

Teaser graphic: something new is coming to The Recovery Depot

Quick confession: I'm a chiropractor, and I can't leave well enough alone. Every time I think we've got the perfect recovery lineup, I think of something else our customers could use.

So here's a sneak peek at what's coming to The Recovery Depot, plus how all of it can fit into one at-home recovery routine.

What We Have Right Now

Our current lineup covers the four basics of recovery:

  • Red light therapy: pads and panels in a range of sizes.
  • Cold plunges: insulated, cedar-built tubs for post-game cold exposure.
  • Saunas: infrared options for winding down and loosening up.
  • Massage chairs: the easiest way to build a "reset" into your day.

What's on the Way

We're growing the shop with items that make the gear you already have work better, plus some new categories:

  • Far infrared lamps: targeted, gentle warmth for the spots that stay cranky.
  • Sauna controls and accessories: the upgrades that make a sauna easier to use and enjoy.
  • Cold plunge filtration systems: for keeping plunge water cleaner between sessions.
  • More red light and massage options: so you can find the right size and style for your space.

We'll announce each addition on the blog and on our Facebook and Instagram pages as it's ready.

Building Your At-Home Recovery Room

You don't need a mansion or a full basement gym. Think of it as four jobs, and you can start with just one:

  1. Heat: to loosen up and unwind (sauna, far infrared).
  2. Cold: to take the edge off after hard play (cold plunge).
  3. Light: to support your body's recovery between sessions (red light therapy).
  4. Rest: to let your body reset (massage chair, and good sleep).

My advice is the same one I give patients: start with the tool you'll actually use. A modest setup you use three times a week beats a showroom setup you use twice a year.

Layer your recovery: heat, light, rest
Heat, light, rest. Small steps, stacked.
